FLIP

We defend freedom of the press, the right to information, human dignity and the free work of journalists. We are a multidisciplinary team of professionals who work to investigate the conditions of journalism in Colombia and take action to promote guarantees for this profession throughout the country.

The Foundation has a network of 31 correspondents distributed throughout the country, who report cases of press freedom violations in different regions. In addition, the organization is always attentive to complaints by email or social networks about attacks on press freedom in Colombia.

FLIP is a consultative member of the Organization of American States (OAS). It is also a member of the Antonio Nariño Project (PAN), the More Information More Rights platform, the International Freedom of Expression Exchange (IFEX) and the Global Forum for Media Development (GFMD).
