Centroamérica Videovigilada aims to disseminate information on mass video surveillance systems located in Central America, through the creation of various communication products and the publication of a final study.
The process consists of geographically mapping the systems installed in the countries of Panama, Costa Rica and Guatemala, using data obtained through public information requests and monitoring of government procurement portals and local press.
The project concludes with a public consultation with all impacted stakeholders: local populations, private enterprise and government, to learn about the different perspectives and opinions on the findings.
